Dr. Bridgett L. Shelly is a native of Tupelo, MS.  Celebrating 28 years in Radio. She is the Host of the “Miss Bam” Show on 94.7.  The 2011 Rhythm of Gospel Radio Announcer of the Year.  2014 GTA Awards Announcer of the Year.  United Brothers & Sisters 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.  Ordained Elder of Victory Temple Outreach Ministries.  Holds a Bachelors in Social Work.  Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work.  Musician at Rising Star Church. Station General Manager of WKIU 94.7 FM on the Kingdom Broadcasting Network.

Board Member of GMWA Quartet Division. Member of the MLK Crusaders.  A Let’s Talk Gospel Board Member.  Co-Owner of S &S Apparel T-shirt Printing.  My desire is to fulfill my purpose in Christ and bring glory to God.

CANDICE KNOWLES

The Candice Knowles is a Graduate of Tupelo High School. A Mother of 3 and presently employed with a Staffing Company.  Candice is the daughter of Patrick Smith and Lady Charlene and Bishop Cleveland Smith. She was a 2017 Mayoral Candidate for the city of Tupelo.  Candice is a member of New Bethel M.B. Church where she serves as an Associate Minister, member of the choir and Media Ministry.  Board of Directors of the Minority Pul Alliance and Mississippi Trailblazers board. Candice is a Community and Civil Rights Activist and founder of You Matter, Inc.  She serves on the Coalition of Concerned Citizens board and loves God purposely.

KARLA GARRETT

1986 graduate of Tupelo High School.

1995 graduate of Blue Mountain College.

 

I am married to Brady Garrett.  We’ve been married for thirty-three years.  

 

Together, Brady and I have built a family through adoption.  Our son, Darius was adopted in 1995 from Lithuania. Darius’ son, Maddox made us grandparents eight years ago. Our daughter, Karlin, was also a gift of adoption. She now lives and works in Memphis, TN.  

 

I taught for twenty-five years at Tupelo Christian Preparatory School. I spent the bulk of my teaching career with fourth graders.  I left TCPS in 2019 to join the staff at First United Methodist Church where I currently serve as the Director of Children’s Ministry.   

DEUNDRA POOLE

Deundra Poole is 32 years of age and was born in Chicago IL. He is the oldest of two from mother, Angela Culberson; he has younger sister, Orneda Culberson, who danced with Victory Temple Dance Team for many years.

 

Deundra is the proud father of two amazing daughters:  Keyonna Poole who is 13 and Alannah Poole who is 5 years old. Deundra has been the Senior Pastor of Deliverance Tabernacle Church of in East Tupelo for 2 years and Bishop Designate of PCHIEF Fellowship where he serves as Chairman of the Pastors and Elders Committee.

 

Deundra is host of KBN’S Real Talk with D. Poole and Crew along with his Co-Hosts T. Macon, Pastor Oshay Denman and Minister Leketra Taylor . Deundra became the first African American Law Enforcement Officer at Saltillo Police Department in 2016 where he now serves as Public Relations Director and Public Relations Officer for Plantersville Police Department. Deundra also organized Kids N Cops festival in Saltillo MS,  which is one of the biggest free Law Enforcement Community Events -free for our youth in North Ms attracting over 5000 participants each year.

 

Deundra is also the School Safety Officer for Lee County Schools where he is assigned to the Saltillo Elementary School. Deundra loves God and People and lives by the creed” Everyone can Help Someone”

LAWRENCE McKENZIE

Lawrence McKenzie was born in Tupelo, MS on August 2, 1987 to the proud parents of Clarence and Mary Parks. At an early age, Lawrence grew a strong liking for music and would often sing before his father preached in revival services across the South and Midwest region of America. He was called into the ministry at the tender age of 9, preaching his first sermon, July 4, 1998, right before his 10th birthday. He graduated from Tupelo High School in 2005. He had the awesome privilege of attending the world famous Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. After a few years of playing for some of music’s biggest names in many different genres, Lawrence moved back to his hometown to further his formal education and aid his father in ministry.  Lawrence is a graduate of Itawamba Community College where he received an Associates of Arts degree. He would later go on to Blue Mountain College where he would receive a double bachelors in Worship Leadership and Biblical Studies. Lawrence has one son, Aiden Parks (8 years old), and he is married to Jessica Parks (4 years). He enjoys serving as Minister of Music and Youth Pastor under the leadership of his father Bishop Clarence L. Parks at the Temple of Compassion and Deliverance located in Tupelo, MS. He is the also Unit Director of the Northside Boys & Girls Club in Tupelo, and he enjoys helping others realize their dreams and potential.

JEMERO CARTER & KINGDOMOLOGY

Jemero Carter & Kingdomology was birthed in January 2015. Since then, the group has released their debut single, “Freedom Giver” and their Freshman Project, “Blood Washed”. In 2018, Kingdomology released an award nominated single, “I Win” and in 2021, in spite of the pandemic challenges, they were blessed to release their latest single, “His Life [EDM Remix]”. Their music can be found on all digital platforms. Their music has reached over 10K digital streams and is heard by listeners in many countries, all over the world. They have traveled the United States extensively ministering in song. 

 

Kingdomology is a group of young and energetic worshippers that are passionate about ministry, that love God, and that love to sing and have fun.
